Salary: Basic of £24k, plus car, monthly and annual bonuses
Hours: 40hpw, Monday-Friday, 08:30 - 17:30
A well-established and expanding family business with 6 dealerships in West Yorkshire and Manchester selling cars and motorcycles.
Recruiting for a Service Manager to join their team, a person who has minimum 2yrs Main Franchise dealer experience in this role but all other candidates will be considered. A candidate would need to have excellent customer service skills, excellent managing people skills and be IT savvy ideally with working knowledge of the Kerridge system.
Reporting to the Group Aftersales Manager and the Directors, you will be customer facing and hands on the desk, whilst overseeing 5 technicians and 2 Service Advisors, and be supported in Aftersales with a Parts Manager and a Group Warranty Manager. You will manage your team and their efficiencies effectively and be able to cover all aspects of the role, taking ownership of problems, and of providing the highest level of customer care and experience to their clientele
As well as frontline service desk tasks, other key tasks will be:
Successfully managing and driving the technicians and service work
Managing staff training and accreditation
Delivering exceptional customer service and CSI standards
Documenting all warranty work as per manufacturers’ requirements and dealership policy
Monitoring and reacting to Daily Operating Control reports, enquiries, complaints etc
Reporting of performance and key figures to the Directors and Group Aftersales Manager
Managing departmental compliance and ensuring Suzuki standards are met
The person chosen to join our team will:
already have experience in this role and ideally be Suzuki accredited
hold a full UK driving licence
be friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
be extremely professional, reliable, highly organised and structured, with a stable motor trade history
be able to manage, coach and motivate staff and colleagues, helping to ensure a welcoming, friendly environment
