Freeway Recruitment are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for a Van driver to work out of their depot based in Worsley on an ongoing basis with a view to working on a temporary to permanent basis.

Job Details:

• Job Title: Van Driver
• Employment type: Temporary Contract Ongoing - Permanent for right candidate
• Shifts: Mon - Fri Shifts
• Start times: 07:30am starts Monday to Friday

Salary/Rate:

• £11.50ph

Role/duties:

• As a van Driver you for our client you will be required to deliver between 30-40 drops per day. Items are small and requires no heavy lifting
• 3.5 Tonne Van (long wheel base)
• The role will involve daily duties such as vehicle checks
• Using route and planning sheets
• Loading/unloading goods onto van
• Delivering goods to customers property
• Safe unloading of goods.

Requirements:

• Must have proven previous Van delivery experience
• Must be physically fit and able to work
• Must be familiar with safe manual handling techniques
• Must have excellent customer service skills as you will be client facing for much of a normal working day
• Previous professional/commercial Driving experience is required
• You will be required to sign up with Freeway Agency
• 2 work references must be provided
