Main purposes of job

This position covers a wide range of responsibilities covering all aspects of office
work and procedures

Administrative
support to sister company, mainly involving export shipping and documentation

Key tasks

  • Manage the customer orders from receipt of order
    to despatch of goods, liaise with transport companies for collection and
    pricing of deliveries
  • Both UK and overseas sales.
  • Maintain stock levels within the UK warehouse
  • For the Sister company products. Purchasing raw
    materials for Main Division
  • Manage, organise and update relevant data/
    monthly sales figures using spreadsheets/databases
  • Record keeping of credit insurance requests
  • Ensuring customer pay on time in keeping with
    the payment terms

Key results/objectives

  • To ensure the smooth running of the admin office
  • Communicating and liaising with customers/
    enquiries
  • Responding clearly and effectively to
  • Enquiries and requests both by phone and email
  • Provide support to the Sales team, managing the
    sample database, filing of reports and price quotes, answering general
    enquiries in a timely manner
  • Responsible for staff/equipment
  • Franking machine, cleaning contract, electricity
    contract
