Calling Class 2 Agency Drivers! Are you in need of additional work and shifts?

Freeway Recruitment are looking to register Class 2 Drivers to work for a variety of clients based in Leeds and Wakefield.

Role: Class 2

Job type: Temporary

Start time/s: 0500/0600/0700 - Can vary day to day and by client

Days/shifts: Mon to Fri, some Saturday work availble

Description:

We are looking for Class 2 Drivers to work on a number of our client contracts ranging from Furniture, Beds, Packaging, Paper, Removals, General Haulage, Pharmaceutical, Construction and more...

We have options for days, some night out work if Drivers want it. Shift lengths can vary depending on client and distributions runs, whether that be regional multi drop of distance work. Minimum of 8 hrs is paid on most contracts and overtime is often available beyond 8 hrs, paid at either a raised hourly rate on all hours or time and half after 8 hours.

We have everything from full weeks bookings through to 1 day plus assignments, which we will do our very best to provide continuation of work for Drivers who want it.

We are looking for Drivers who have a flexible attitude to work, able to work across multiple customers carrying various goods, able to carry out multi drop (10-14 drops per day), familiar with curtain siders, palletised goods, pump trucks, safe strapping loads etc

Requirements:

• Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
• Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
• Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills
• Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
• Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
• Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client

Qualifications / training / experience:

You must be able to provide the following;

• Valid Class 2 driving licence
• Valid Digital tachograph card
• Valid Driver CPC card
• Have No more than 9 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)
• 2 work check-able work references

Pay

Paye - Minimum £14.00ph to £16.00ph depending on client contract worked on (Plus Holiday pay entitlement)
