Freeway Recruitment are looking to register Class 1 Night Drivers;

Role: Class 1 HGV C+E

Job type: Temporary

Shifts - Days

1800 start time

Description:

We are looking to register additional Class 1 Drivers to join our agency team.

Our customer specialises in general haulage of palletised goods delivered over a regional area.

Night trunking general haulage goods to UK pallet network RDCs and depots

*Drivers must have previous experience of working night on HGV C+E vehicles, general haulage, palletised network delivery, driving curtain side vehicles, familiar with ratchet straps, safe internal strapping of goods and pallets.

Requirements:

• Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
• Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
• Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Excellent communication skills
• Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
• Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
• Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our Client

Qualifications / training / experience:

You must be able to provide the following;

• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E driving licence
• Valid Digital tachograph card
• Valid Driver CPC card
• Have No more than 6 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)
• 2 work check-able work references

Pay

£16.00ph (basic pay plus additional holiday accrual) / £21.28ph Overtime (after 8 hours worked minus 0.75 break)
