Freeway Recruitment are currently recruiting for 7.5 Tonne Drivers to work on their contracts based in Bolton

Position 7.5 Tonne driver / double manned Home delivery team.

Based in Bolton

Pay:

£13.00 per hour PAYE

£15.00 Per hour Umbrella PAYE

Flat rate for all hours worked

Min of 8 hours paid per shift

Working week – Monday to Saturday ( 5 days over the week )

Start times 05:00 am to 06:00 am

Duration - temp ongoing but could lead to a perm position for the right candidate

Duties/ detail;

As a double manned 7.5 Tonne delivery driver you will be responsible for the following

Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and reporting any defects to transport office

Operating 7.5 Tonne box waggons in a safe and professional manner, being courteous to other drivers, pedestrians, and carriage loads

Delivering Bathroom Furniture/ fixtures and fittings to customers' homes, usually room of choice.

Lifting in a double team, there can some heavy furniture

Using Tail lift and pump truck to manoeuvre loads

Averaging anywhere between 8 - 20 deliveries per day

Working in a double manned team

Delivering on excellent customer service every time.

Requirements for the role;

A full and valid 7.5 Tonne Licence with experience of operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle.

A full and in date digital tacho card

An up to date valid CPC card

No more than 6 points on licence

No DR, DD, IN, CD endorsements

Full right to work in the UK

Ideally experience of working within Home delivery but not essential
